Q: What do you sing in the shower?
A: Usually songs by The Weeknd. My shower acoustics are impeccable.
Q: Describe your craziest studio experience.
A: My producer let me try spiked eggnog for the first time last Christmas. I got so messed up we ended up recording a 20-minute freestyle about eggnog. I’m thinking about releasing it this year as a Christmas album.
Q: Where did you play your first gig?
A: My first live performance with a microphone in my hand was at a high school rally. I was a sophomore and very nervous.
Q: How much music do you own?
A: Five CDs, more than 100 records and 7,899 MP3s.
Q: Name your guilty pleasure.
A: I’m embarrassed of nothing. But people look at me weird when I sing “I’m Too Sexy.”
