Sometimes animals get along. Sometimes they don’t. Either way, it’s probably best not to put them on a boat together—unless your name’s Noah and you have a giant ark, of course. With that in mind, let’s get some animals across the river in this week’s Rompecabeza:
A farmer taking a fox, a chicken and a sack of grain to the market happens upon a river. The only way across the river is by a small boat, which can only hold the farmer and one of the three items. The farmer knows that if left alone the chicken will eat the grain or the fox will eat the chicken. What’s the quickest way to get everything across the river?
Check back next week for the answer.
